She lifts toe or an outer edge of foot during walking, without touching floor surface and reducing circumcduction of the lower limb. During making a step, the device stimulates the muscles responsible for flexing ankle joint. All this leads to correction of pathological motor stereotype of walking and formation of a new one, which is as close as possible to physiological one.
Correction device is fixed with a tape over the patient's knee without any difficulties or discomfort during movement.
Electrodes providing stimulation are located on the anterior tibial muscle, which is responsible for the movement of the foot.
